Some prayer helps from this morning...

The church prays evangelistically by…
 -praying for the lost generally and specifically.
 -praying for the preaching of the gospel locally and globally.
 -praying for people to be sent from the church to preach the gospel.


Why would he tell us to pray for all people but only list those in authority?
 -Because you wouldn’t naturally think to pray for the ones who persecute you.
 -Because it reminds you that God is over the king.  Remember the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord.
 -Because praying for someone reduces your risk of revolting against them.
 -Because they are most responsible for the good order of society which gives the church greater freedom to preach the gospel.

Use your thumb as a global prayer help:

This month, the 1st through 3rd grade children's church theme is becoming a global christian.
During the first two weeks the prayer help of THUMB was used.
Pray for
Tribal people
Hindus
Unreligous
M uslim
Buddhists

Pray that people in these groups would have their eyes open to the glory of God and their need for Jesus.
